"I recently drove from NorCal to Phoenix with my cousin to catch the suns vs. warriors. A couple days into my trip my coolant temp started to rise - I took my car to firestone and was charged extra for a further diagnostic to inspect my radiator fans. They eventually quoted me 3.5k in damages, as a young woman traveling I didn't know what to do so I called Arthur, for a second opinion. He was extremely thorough and helpful and, went out of his way to explain everything to me and assure me he can find a resolution at a cheaper price. After finding the issue, and seeing that firestone completely LIED to me about the issues, Arthur was able to grab the part and fix my car the same day for less than 1/3 of what I was quoted originally. I'm so thankful to have found them and if you are in the area and need car work you are safe in his hands. Amazing businessman and even better pricing. I will be sending my friends that are local to him & coming back if need be in the future."

Thank you so much for trusting us during what could have been a really stressful moment on the road — and for taking the time to share your experience. Being stranded far from home with conflicting information from another shop is genuinely overwhelming, and we're so glad you reached out for that second opinion. Getting you back on the road safely, at a price that was actually fair, is exactly what we're here for. We'd love to be your go-to shop whenever you're passing through Phoenix, and we're honored to welcome any friends you send our way. Safe travels always!

"So I took my 2013 vw GLI (dsg transmission) in for routine service on transmission filter and fluid change as I would every 30-40k miles. Shop said they will handle it no issues. First impression cars are all parked in front undone and looked sketchy . Second off when they did my service on transmission filter they jacked up driver side one corner up and proceeded to drain it. They asked me to make a payment prior to even working on the car which was $220 so I payed that which was slight odd 2hrs later the service manager Arthur I believe his name is comes back and says sorry the parts costed more can you pay a extra $80 which was definitely not what we discussed but I still payed it. After 3-4hours of sitting there car was done. My car was stuck in limp mode the mechanics couldn't figure out why there was an apprentice learning with another mechanic. They said it was due to my transmission probably already going on its way out which my vehicle only had 118k miles. So they didn't offer a refund or anything to fix the issue to why the transmission wouldn't engage any gear and stuck in 1st . I limped it home and took it to another shop next morning. The shop said the car had to be leveled to do this service which it wasn't at fix auto it was on a jack they check level it was overfilled by 2qtz of transmission fluid and now car runs fine after going to a reputable shop. I wouldn't recommend this place to no one"

We sincerely appreciate you sharing this, and we want to be straightforward with you — what you've described is not the standard of service we hold ourselves to, and we're truly sorry for the frustration and inconvenience this caused. DSG transmission services on VW platforms require a very specific level procedure, and if that step was not followed correctly during your visit, that's something we need to own and address internally. We also hear you on the pricing adjustment mid-service — that kind of surprise is never acceptable, and we understand why it felt off. We'd genuinely welcome the chance to speak with you directly to make this right. Please reach out to us at your convenience — your experience matters to us, and we don't want this to be how your story with us ends.

"Extremely great experience working with Arthur. I was dealing with the dealership that I purchased my car at, and they were trying to majorly upsell me. I found Arthur on a Sunday after not being able to find any other shops that were open. I was on my last resort I called him and he told me to show up did what he could today and I'll be back on Wednesday for more service I will 100% recommend Arthur again great pricing great service and they care about your time."

We really appreciate you reaching out on a Sunday and giving us the opportunity to help — that kind of trust means a lot to us. Dealership upsells are unfortunately all too common, and we're glad you were able to find a straightforward, honest path forward. Arthur and the team genuinely care about making sure every customer leaves with clarity and confidence about their vehicle. We're looking forward to seeing you Wednesday and continuing to take good care of you. Welcome to the Fix Auto family!
