An independent look at Morton Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, Inc.'s Google reputation in Nashville, TN.
"Morton Plumbing was great! I called Monday with a non-emergency fix and they were out Wednesday morning. Rick was knowledgeable and friendly and got right to work fixing some old shut-off valves and installing a new kitchen faucet. I thought their pricing was reasonable and well worth the money not to make the repair myself. Overall, very good experience. I would definitely call them again or recommend to someone else."
Thank you so much for taking the time to share this — it truly means a great deal to the whole team. We're glad Rick could get to you quickly and make the process feel easy from start to finish. That's exactly the experience we aim to deliver every time someone opens their door to us. We'll look forward to being there whenever you need us next!
"The only reason this company deserves two stars is because the customer service representative and technician were kind and professional. Other than that, this company charged me $1200 for an alleged 4 hours labor (of which only 2.5 hours were done). And, this company charged me $2500+ for a tankless hot water heater that at Home Depot was $1500+. Ultimately, the final price for labor and parts was $3985. Furthermore, when questioned about the invoice, the owner, Jimmy, became highly defensive and unprofessional. It would behoove everyone to avoid using this company for any and all plumbing services."
Thank you for being candid — this kind of feedback is not easy to receive, but it's important, and we want to address it honestly. We're genuinely glad our customer service representative and technician left a positive impression, and we're sorry the billing experience overshadowed that. The concerns you've raised about labor hours and parts pricing deserve a real conversation, not a defensive one. Wholesale pricing, licensing, warranties, and the complexity of tankless installations in existing homes do affect our costs — but we recognize that none of that matters if it wasn't clearly communicated to you beforehand, and we own that. We'd welcome the opportunity to review your invoice with fresh eyes and speak with you directly. Please reach out to us at your convenience — we'd like the chance to make this right.
"I cannot recommend Morton's Plumbing enough. I needed an emergency water heater replacement in a crawlspace and another company quoted me a massive price. Morton's came out, beat that quote by over $500, and did a fantastic job. What impressed me most was their honesty. I thought I needed some expensive electrical work (a junction box fix) based on another quote, but the Morton's tech looked at it and confirmed it was actually fine — saving me even more money. They even threw in a new quarter-turn shut-off valve at no extra cost to make things easier for me in the future. If you want a Nashville plumber who is actually honest and does great work, call them."
This review made our whole team smile — thank you so much for sharing it. Crawlspace water heater replacements are no small task, and we're really glad we could show up for you when it mattered most. Honesty is something we take seriously around here, so hearing that it came through clearly means a lot. We hope that new shut-off valve serves you well for years to come, and we'll be here whenever you need us again!
