An independent look at Grand Strand Family & Esthetic Dentistry's Google reputation in Myrtle Beach, SC.
"They were quick, kind, and efficient. Emergency extraction and they got me on quick. Appointment was 11:20 and I was in and out by 11:55"
Thank you so much for taking a moment to share this — we know that a dental emergency is never a comfortable situation, and it means a great deal to hear that our team was able to get you seen quickly and make the experience as smooth as possible. This is exactly the level of care we strive to deliver every single day, and your kind words are a genuine reminder of why we do what we do. We hope you're feeling much better, and we'd be honored to be your dental home whenever you need us.
"If I could rate it a zero I would worst dentist I've ever been at. They are so kind on the phone but when you arrive they are so rude. I called because I was stuck in traffic they said it's ok we will still be able to see you but 10 minutes later I'm sorry you are late what in the world worst place ever"
Daisy, thank you for being honest with us — this kind of feedback is difficult to read, but it matters deeply. What you described is not the experience we ever want a patient to have, and the disconnect between what you were told on the phone and what happened when you arrived is something we take seriously. You reached out, communicated your situation, and acted in good faith. That deserved a consistent and respectful response, full stop. We would genuinely welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly, understand what happened, and make this right. Please reach out to us at your convenience — you deserve to feel valued from the first call to the final handshake.
"Worst experience ever. I've never felt so unheard before in my life. I told the dentist my daughter was in excruciating pain from her 2 back teeth and that we wanted extractions. They initially refused and tried to force us to a root canal after we explained that we didn't want her to be in pain any longer. After going back and forth, they ended pulling one and leaving the other. Which means she'll still be in pain."
Tara, we are truly sorry — for your daughter's continued pain and for the experience you had in our office. No parent should walk out of a dental appointment feeling unheard, and no child should leave still hurting. We understand that you came to us with a clear and urgent concern, and it is clear that the communication and collaboration you deserved in that room fell short. While we always aim to offer clinical guidance rooted in long-term health, we recognize that respecting a family's wishes and their lived experience of pain is equally essential. We would like the opportunity to connect with you personally, revisit your daughter's care, and ensure she receives the relief she needs. Please contact us directly — her comfort and your peace of mind are priorities we want to get right.
