Nick and Austin's Client · 5 stars

"Nick and Austin did an amazing job installing our vent for us- they were able to install all the duct work for us to code for our new kitchen remodel. Nick and Austin were both professional, and skilled and did an amazing job. We highly recommend Accent Comfort to everyone we know!"

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this — it genuinely means the world to our team. Nick and Austin take tremendous pride in their craft, and knowing they delivered work that met code and exceeded your expectations during a kitchen remodel is exactly the standard we hold ourselves to. We'll make sure they both see this. We're honored by your recommendation and look forward to being your go-to team for any comfort needs down the road. Welcome to the Accent family!

Long-Time Customer (Property Damage Incident) · 1 stars

"Been a long time customer of Accent, and always had positive experiences… when everything went well. Asked Accent to come in and replace two bathroom ceiling exhaust vents shortly after the new year. After an employee stepped on an attic sprinkler pipe, water burst through the ceiling, pouring into the apartment for almost half an hour. After finally getting the water shut off, and getting the 4 inches of water off the floor, we were able to begin the restoration process. Due to water damage, the entire apartment required new floors, new cabinets, new counter tops, 2.5 feet of drywall were cut out and replaced from the walls, new Sheetrock was needed in a majority of our ceiling in the living room, and many appliances needed to be replaced. Based on our prior experiences with Accent, after being a long time supporter and customer, we expected this to be a quick process, with support from their business. Unfortunately, the restoration process has been anything but. After these needed repairs rendered our apartment unlivable, we were not only forced to stop collecting/pay back rent, our tenants were forced to move out just before the start of their spring semester at school. After reaching out to get the repair process started, we were shuffled down the line, told the insurance was still making decisions, and told to contact an insurance company who even came to our house looking to get information to help them pay us less money. Now on 2/8, not a single piece of work would be done if we had not fronted 1000s of dollars of our own money to get this process started, so our tenants could return to their apartment as soon as possible, after the damage happened on 1/4. This whole experience has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. What should have been a 2 hour, $400 dollar repair has quickly turned into a multi month, $40k+ repair job that we still have not seen a dime of money to help us fix. The company still has no answers for us, and the whole experience has felt very much like a used car dealership. Very disappointing based on prior experiences with the company. No company is free of making mistakes, and we accepted that a mistake was made, but what is extremely disappointing is the lack of assistance and perceived lack of accountability from the company, as we are constantly shuttled to an insurance company, who has still not paid us a dime, with no end in sight."

We are deeply sorry. There is no version of this situation where your experience has been acceptable, and we want to say that plainly — without deflection. What began as a routine service call resulted in serious damage to your property, disruption to your tenants' lives, and significant financial strain that you should not have been carrying alone. You trusted us, and we fell short of honoring that trust in the moments that mattered most. We understand that being directed to an insurance process can feel like being handed off rather than helped, and we hear you clearly: that has not felt like partnership. It has not been good enough. We would like to speak with you directly and personally — not through a claims representative — to understand where things stand today and what we can do to move this forward with the urgency and accountability it deserves. Please reach out to us at your earliest convenience, and we will ensure you are connected with the right person at the leadership level immediately. Your loyalty over the years has meant a great deal to us, and we are committed to making this right.

Jordan's Client · 5 stars

"The service person, Jordan, could not have been more professional or helpful. He came for a regular maintenance appointment but was eager to address and fix several issues that had not been properly fixed by a pervious and different HVAC provider. I can wholeheartedly recommend Accent Comfort Services for their proficiency and their knowledgeable and professional staff."

Recommended response

Thank you for such a thoughtful and generous review. Jordan embodies exactly what we believe a service visit should feel like — attentive, thorough, and genuinely invested in getting things right, even when that means correcting work that wasn't ours to begin with. We're so glad he could bring you peace of mind and leave your system in the condition it deserves. We'll make sure Jordan hears how much his care and professionalism meant to you. Your recommendation is something we take to heart, and we look forward to continuing to earn it with every visit.
